Red Valentino’s distinctive soft pink shopfit, designed by architect India Mahdavi in collaboration with the brand’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, has landed in Harbour City, Hong Kong’s largest shopping Mall.
The 1,452 sq ft store, on the second level in the Gateway Arcade section of the shopping centre in Tsim Sha Tsui, has all the hallmarks of the landmark concept that also opened in London and Rome last year.
Red Valentino is the contemporary and more casual line from Italian fashion house Valentino which is growing in popularity and influence with its Millenial audience. Much of the original interior design concept is evident in Hong Kong including the plush Charlotte chairs with their scalloped backs and the tonal pinks set against white that dominate the colour scheme.
For the store launch the brand partnered with Swedish artist Monika Forsberg who produced a limited capsule collection of jackets, dresses and bags featuring her colourful and distinctive illustrative memes.
