French luxury brand Maison Kitsune, has opened its first standalone store in Soho NY. Previously the store was attached to the Ace Hotel.

The brand has taken 1,400 sq ft of ground floor space of a classic 1900s red brick NY building. The tan shopfront with its black iron awning, as well as black flag signage, complements the brick exterior.

Inside, the walls have been whitewashed and the floors are speckled white, grey and black concrete. The walls and doors also feature French door mouldings. The standout feature in the store however is the brass pipes which seem to dance across the store forming the clothing racks. They also line the walls and forms the legs for the tables.

The store design is kept simple with no artwork and the dominant white being broken only by some green plants.

Soho continues to be a destination of choice for luxury brands in the Big Apple.
