KIDS CONCEPT EVERAFTER DEBUTS IN TRIBECA

Multi-brand kidswear retailer Everafter is a new kidswear retail concept from the founders of US independent designer apparel chain Intermix.

Four years after selling out of the 45-store adult apparel business, two of its creators are back with a new branded kidswear retail concept focused on catering to parents in wealthy urban and suburban neighbourhoods.

Everafter, which launched its first store in New York’s Tribeca in April, has followed this with two more openings, one in the city’s Upper East Side and one on Long Island.

The 3,500 sq ft Tribeca store has acted as a proof of concept for the business. It was designed by New York based consultancy Janson Goldstein and is a light, bright, airy space, marked out with white, grey and aubergine used as feature colours while light plywood is used for fixtures and the backdrop panelling.

Throughout the store there are bursts of colour in wall coverings, rugs and furnishings and a light grey painted exterior gives the fascia a contemporary feel.
