Kate Spade has opened its first store in Paris. Located on Rue Saint-Honoré, the new space has been designed by the retailer in collaboration with Househam Henderson.

Measuring 185 sq m over two floors, the design scheme radiates opulence, with contrasting white and grey terrazzo tiles, polished brass inlays and railings, and high gloss counter tops. The white colour palette draws the eye towards the different product categories including handbags, ready-to-wear and fashion accessories.

The design of the flagship embraces mid-century modern influences while maintaining the authentic aesthetic of the neighborhood. The store’s two-level façade was inspired by a traditional Parisian storefront, incorporating painted wood and dark stone accents. Furniture from the Kate Spade New York home collection is dotted throughout the space.

The brand has speciality stores across London, from Regent Street to Covent Garden, Sloane Square and Westfield in Shepherd’s Bush, as well as an outpost in Oslo, Norway. With the purchase by Coach earlier this year, we can expect further store expansions.
