Fashion brand Dsquared2 has upped its presence in Holland opening two stores, one in Amsterdam and the other in Rotterdam.

The Amsterdam store is located in the city centre on the busy PC Hooftstraat. The store interior has been designed by Italian architects Storageassociati in collaboration with brand owners Dean and Dan Caten.

Trading across three floors and spanning 2,320 sq ft, the store showcases denim and intimates with swimwear in the basement, menswear on the ground floor and womenswear and eveningwear collections on the first floor.

The interior design is subtle and luxurious in formal areas such as eveningwear with warm neutral tones highlighted with black Okumé wood panelling and satin brass fixturing. Plush elements are introduced via velvet armchairs and silk wool carpeting. In menswear there is more of a gentlemen’s club feel with green leather armchairs and sober grey carpeting

In the denim section, down in the basement, the mood shifts with a blue carpet, black leather armchairs and matt black metal furniture with brushed steel detailing.
