As part of a roll call of luxury retailers to open in the new Ginza 6 shopping center in Tokyo, Denham The Jeanmaker has opened its new store.
The decision by the jean brand to open alongside the likes of Fendi, Louis Vuitton and Dior, proves denim is comfortable as a luxury item.
The 210 sq m space showcases Denham’s signature global interior design, which merges the modern with a vintage feel, along with quirky statues. Recycled and paired back wooden floorboards are also a design feature and are also placed on the walls.
The brand, which has a pair of scissors as its moniker, continues the sewing and home craft feeling instore with bunting placed around the store.
There is also an onsite denim lab, equipped with vintage sewing machines where you can customize your new pair of jeans. A handwash and drying room, to get the perfect denim shade, completes the picture.
The new store stocks men’s, women’s and childrenswear.
