BROWN’S SHOREDITCH OPENS IN BLAZE OF COLOUR.

Luxury British boutique Brown’s has taken its first steps outside London’s West End with the opening of a new concept shop in Shoreditch.

The East London project is the first physical retail opening for the business since it was bought by global luxury online retailer Far Fetch. This is a new concept for the business. It is not a pop-up but it is not necessarily a long-term fixture either. The space is being dubbed ‘semi-permanent’ and its aim and offering is targeted directly at the local wealthy community of the financial and creative classes living and working nearby.

Browns East, as the store is called, trades over two floors and is located in a building that was once a printing factory which helps gives this new  space an airy atmosphere and eclectic feel.

Designed by London based agency Brinkworth, in collaboration with the Brown’s “store of the future” team, the interior has a flexible set-up via a series of colourful sculptural  fixtures that can be moved around the space.

Brown’s East is the brand’s first store that is augmented by tech and Far Fetch’s team of engineers who are tasked with delivering a vision of the Store of the Future will be looking to learn as much as possible about how customers interact with the space and how tech can be used to better serve them.
