Luxury NY department store, Bergdorf Goodman has appointed 25 of its employees to design its Spring/Summer windows. It’s the first time the department store has given its employees this prestigious opportunity and is a clever employee engagement programme, as well as a marketing and sales initiative.
15 women’s store associates and 10 men’s store employees were all asked to share their favourite spring looks and fashion advice to act as style guide experts. Each associate was given a third of a window to create their signature look with their name and portrait in lights.
The sales associates will be also be featured across all shopper-facing material from the customer magazine, social media, online web site and at in-centre events.
The displays along Fifth Avenue and in-store will be up from Feb 4-27 and it is timed to coincide with the city’s fashion week.
